Father/Son - Mother/Daughter Workshops August 11-13!

The Heritage Ministry Center will be hosting two more exciting workshops in August, developed with the goal of strengthening family relationships while working together to learn new skills!

Our Mother/Daughter: Vintage Homemaking Skills Workshop  will be held August 11-13, 2014 (Monday noon through Wednesday).  Mothers and their daughters will have the opportunity to learn old-fashioned homemaking skills such as baking artisan breads, making butter, cheese, yogurt, and kefir, canning, making natural soaps and cleaning products, and beginning sewing, spinning, knitting, and crocheting.  Come learn new skills as well as well as drawing closer to each other and enjoying fellowship with others as well!

Held during the same time will be our Practical Skills for Guys Workshop for Fathers and Sons.  Fathers and sons can come August 11 - 13, 2014 and learn the basic skills of automotive maintenance, carpentry, building sheds and coops, and basic home repair (electrical/plumbing/HVAC) with the goal in mind of learning how to keep their own homes in good repair as well as developing a ministry meeting the needs of widows in their own areas.

Both the Vintage Homemaking Skills Workshop for Mothers and Daughters, and the Practical Skills for Guys Workshop  will be held on August 11 -13, 2014 at the Heritage Ministry Center in Madison, Tennessee (Nashville area).  Workshops will start Monday at noon and will run through 4:00 Wednesday afternoon.

The cost for each workshop, including housing and meals is $150 for a father and a son, or a mother and a daughter. (Additional sons or daughters may attend for $25 each.)
